Abul Hossain is an Application Scientist specializing in Packaging & Bioactive Delivery at The University of British Columbia, Canada. He earned his Ph.D. in Food Science from Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada, where he also served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. His research focuses on bioactive compounds derived from agricultural and aquaculture products and by-products, investigating their effects on food preservation and health promotion. Abul is particularly interested in the development of biodegradable packaging, edible films, and coatings, and their interactions with food products.
